Water/Transfer Station

At the June 2014 Town of Wilna Board Meeting, the Board Members passed a resolution requiring all patrons to wait for the attendant to assist them in the unloading of their trash. This is an attempt to stop the dumping of unpermitted items at the transfer station.

It is unlawful for patrons to dump household furnishings, construction debris, or electronics of any kind. This includes but is not limited to couches, sofas, tables, and chairs, stands, building materials of any kind, computers, batteries, and televisions.

Anyone caught dumping any of these items will be banned from using the transfer station. If you have any questions about please feel free to ask the attendant at the transfer station. He is there to help.

If you see anyone dumping unpermitted items at the transfer station, we ask that you tell the attendant immediately.

With your help and support we will be able to continue providing the transfer station services.
